Nevertheless, I remembered the day when it was announced that Anwar Ibrahim had join UMNO. I still cannot forget UMNO’s Team Wawasan which he lead in the party’s election in 1993 which consists other members such as Mat Tyson, Najib and Muhyiddin Yasin. Anwar Ibrahim won the Deputy President’s post unopposed since Ghaffar Baba declined to contest.
I have met him once or twice when he was in power while doing my job. During the reformasi years, I was abroad and what I know about him then came from what I read and watched in the media. Back in Malaysia since the end of 2006, of course, naturally, I latched on the Anwar news train like the rest of us.
Well, let me correct one thing. I actually dont know shit about Anwar Ibrahim. I dont know if he is a homosexual. I dont know if there was a conspiracy against him then in 1998 and I am sure as hell dont know if there exist a conspiracy against him now.
What I do know is this. Theres a police report made by this Saiful chap alleging that Anwar forcefully sodomized him on so and so date, in so and so condominium detailed by his Statutory Declaration as follows.
“Saya Mohd Saiful Bukhari b Azlan ingin melaporkan bahawa saya telah diliwat oleh majikan saya. Perkara ini berlaku tanpa kerelaan saya. Kejadian terakhir berlaku 26/6/08 di Unit 1151, Kondominium Desa Damansara, Jln Setia Kasih, KL. Oleh itu, tujuan laporan ini dibuat untuk mendapat pembelaan dan keadilan keatas diri saya. Saya juga berasa bimbang dengan keselamatan diri dan keluarga saya jika perkara ini tersebar luas di khalayak ramai. Majikan saya Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim - Ketua Umum PKR.”
Let’s look at it from a simple, basic view.
I dont know about you, but from his pictures, I think Saiful looks like a well built young man in his prime age of 23 years old. I would imagine that the tanpa kerelaan saya should at least indicate that he did put up a fight when he’s in that kind of situation. And the kejadian terakhir must surely means that Saiful had to endure Anwar’s lust a couple of times at least. Reading that with tanpa kerelaan saya should left Anwar with bloodied eye everytime there was an attempt by Anwar to rape him. After all Saiful is 23 years old and Anwar is a 61 years old man with a bad back. I mean, he could beat up Anwar to a bloody pulp anytime. Hyphothetically, surely Saiful must have maruah to aggresively defend himself and his ass?
This is what I honestly think, yes there is a police report by Saiful, but I dont buy it. And as far as Anwar is concern, I think he is taking the fullest advantage of the said allegation to propel him in achieving his ultimate political agenda.
Honestly, tell me, who wont extend their hands and sympathy to a victim?
Bro, like you said, a strapping 23-year old chap (and I read he’s a 6-footer) being held helpless against his will by a 61-year old man with a bad back and not being able to fight back? And with the latter still of sound mind who surely knows such an act (if it happened at all) would be politically damaging.
As it is Malaysians are getting screwed by those in power for years already!

This will only serve to catapult DSAI closer to his objectives, if not stemming from actual political capability, then surely for sympathy.
Makes me very very curious though, to know who masterminded this, and what he/she/they hoped to gain out of it.
Unless if it was masterminded by DSAI himself in order to gain the momentum he needs (but it just wouldn’t be worth it to put himself out on the line on such a damning charge, so this is just a stupid hypothesis on my part), all other angles would seem rather pretty daft.

I seriously think the people in power have not only lost the plot, but the focus as well. There are many issues at hand - far more urgent issues - that need attending to, but what do these bunch of imbeciles do? They stab each other in the back & point fingers at each other. Write your piece .......When Anwar was acquitted, the judgement from 3 judges was 2-1. His acquittal was not water-tight. One judge believed he had done it. It is a matter of vote. If it was 3-0, then it is a different story.
Now it happened again. And again the theory of political conspiracy is played. And again the rakyat is roped in to judge the drama and to defend him.
I think we shouldn’t jugde. Let the law takes its matter on who is the victim.
