This is the new access road to Padang Besar from the Bukit Kayu Hitam-Kuala Perlis Highway. You read it right, its a highway. Last September 15th marked a full year stay in Malaysia for me after 11 years and 5 months staying abroad.

I went back to Sungai Petani last weekend and decided to drive to Kuala Perlis for the seafood.
Although there is a new highway from Bukit Kayu Hitam to Kuala Perlis, I took the old road via Alor Setar, Kuala Sanglang and Simpang Empat.

My best friend and colleague will be moving to Ottawa for her next assignment.
We argued, fought, teased, joked and laughed together all the time. Never mind she's a lady. She will stand her ground if she thinks she's right. She's cool.
I will miss her.
